Interest in hydrogen is growing, with demand increasing rapidly. Governments are investing heavily in Hydrogen
Economy – formulating dedicated hydrogen strategies to address regulatory barriers and stabilize investment climate. Hydrogen energy is one option to accelerate the energy transition. By offering grid-friendly and stable decarbonized electricity, it enables the grid to host higher percentage renewable energy. The combination of intermittent renewable source, a long-term on-site hydrogen energy storage and multi-MW Fuel Cell will deliver firmed capacity, dispatchable renewable electricity. For the example, the European Union will spend 145 billion Euro to scale up an innovative new hydrogen manufacturing industry and to recover economic growth after the Covid-19 crisis.
