E-Learning SMART GRID ACADEMY by PJCI and IT PLN


Course Purpose:

Introduction to the new multi-disciplinary field of Smart Grid. This course will provide participants with a working knowledge of fundamentals, design, analysis, and development of Smart Grid. It offers an introduction to the basic concepts of power systems along with the inherent elements of operation aspect, communication technology and support system. The automation and computational techniques needed to ensure that the Smart Grid guarantees adaptability and capability of handling new systems and components are discussed. The interoperability of different renewable energy sources is included to ensure that there will be minimum changes in the existing legacy system. Standards and requirements needed for designing new devices, systems and products for the Smart Grid are discussed.


Course Learning Outcomes:

A participant who successfully completes this course will:

1. Understand the fundamental concept of the smart grid

3. Understand the fundamental structure of the power grid

4. Be able to analyze some issues related to the smart grid

Fee & Registration:

This course is open for public, everyone who want to know the Smart Grid basic and its use cases, especially potential implementation in Indonesia. The content of course will be 60% theory and knowledge and 40% of case study. The participant can take the course in two ways; both complete package and individual topic only.


The participant will have all learning materials and a certificate issued by Institut Teknologi PLN and PJCI within the following condition:

1. Attending the course with at least 80% presence in whole on-line class

2. Finishing the all related feedback for each session


The course fee:

1. A whole package courses (10 sessions):

- Public non PJCI member : Rp 1.000.000

- Public PJCI member* : Rp 750.000

- Student** : Rp 450.000

2. Individual topic (1 session only):

- Public non PJCI member : Rp 150.000

- Public PJCI member* : Rp 100.000
